As a courtesy to our patients we will bill your insurance for services rendered. In the event your dental insurance doesn't cover the cost of care, the balance will remain the patient's responsibility and a billing statement will be sent to the responsible party in the patient's account. Dental claims are usually processed by your carrier 4 to 6 weeks from the moment they are received. Any non-paid claims that remain outstanding after 12 weeks from submitted will be closed and the balance will remain the patient's responsibility. When this happens, many times patient's will pursue reimbursement directly from their insurance carrier.
